Met with Brandon tonight at the John Randolph Hopewell VA~Psychiatric Ward.
He has not been drugged for those of you asking. They are holding him until Monday when he is to appear before a Judge whom will make a ruling based on the Dr’s (Of their choosing) evaluation of his ability to function in society. Should the Judge deem him a terrorist threat and unstable he will continue to be detained for a greater length of time of which is undetermined.
I am looking into him being evaluated by an outside Dr. of our choosing. I was told that this was not possible. We are seeking legal counsel on this. We do not trust their choice of Dr.’s He is being held for 72 hours until Monday’s hearing.
He has NOT been accused or booked for any crime. Yet, he was handcuffed, not read his rights and taken away in a police car to be placed into a Psychiatric hospital. Oh yeah, he is an AMERICAN CITIZEN.
What some do not seem to understand or “get” is this, it is not about what someone says or how they said it, or even if I agree with it. This is about the government, OUR government telling us that if you take a stand and speak out against them you can be “taken away”. This is a direct violation of our Constitutional Rights aka “Freedom of Speech”. READ IT, it is clear.

Read the Constitution, and Bill of Rights. Then look around and ask yourself if you see our government following it. Question Everything your government does. If you find an area (there are many) where they are falling short or even completely abolishing sections of it along with our rights then please, do something about it.
I cannot tell you what that is, but I can guide you if you are willing to listen. This has been the sole aim for sharing with you this past year since I came out of “the matrix” and my eyes and hearts were opened. This has been the reason behind my conversations with many of you and your reaction has spoke volumes to me.
Many of my friends and family have distanced themselves from me, you know who you are. I make you uncomfortable and who likes that right? I am a Conspiracy Theorist and “why the heck can’t you just “settle down”. I see it in your eyes and in your inaction to a government gone rogue.
Many of you have now become my friends, my comrades, my colleges and I hold you dear. Not because you have agreed with me all the time, for who grows that way? But for your hearts that love this country, love liberty more than anything and love God. You amaze me, you astound me with your fierce loyalty to our founding father’s words and works and you inspire me!
You, must choose your own path and thus your destiny. Just remember, this is more important than you, this is our future children’s legacy. What you choose to do today will become their tomorrow. Choose wisely!

I will suggest that to his mom. I’m just sharing the information. Making sure Brandon’s selfless act isn’t in vain.
I checked his profile out. This guy doesn’t belong in jail :) The guy has a picture with his own personal firearm on his fb profile. Yeah okay, so do millions of people on Facebook, s
ome I know personally. Some of the “seditious” things he said were 9-11 was done by the government (even going to such length, and an interestingly detailed thesis, of providing evidence to augment this), the War on Terror is a lie, Americans are killing innocent people in the ME, the current federal banking system is corrupt and unfeasible to Americans, and that the George Bush’s family rapes little children :) I think there is circumstantial evidence to prove all of the above and none of what he says offends ME as an American. In fact if any American has publicly stated any of the above, you may be next.
Personally, I think our tax money was just wasted toward arresting, detaining, and charging an innocent man who became victim to a witch hunt. This case is indicative of what I have been stating two years ago, I am sadly crying on the inside as I watch my own government terrorize some of its own people for thinking and living differently from the others. What separates the US government from World War II Germany and Japan!?
I hope the best for this gentleman and that God protects and blesses him. This man only wanted to express his disapproval of everything happening in America and sought to provoke the minds to consider that if change does not occur, Americans all over the US will consider making the change themselves. Why should we punish a voice from one of our own who is stating what many are inured, scared, or too apathetic to state publicly?
Oh!! Another thing, this guy liked playing rap music on his Facebook such as John Cena’s WWE entrance theme. So I advise everyone to stay clear of that song.
This is an example of an American who has been arrested for stating what many of us are inured, scared, or too apathetic to publicly aver. We have problems in the US and it does not take this young man’s posts or a public declaration to state this. However!! It is improvident and counterproductive to waste our tax dollars to strike fear and terrorism into other American Facebook users that the next key stroke on their keyboard may result in blue colored-fatigue men knocking down one’s door. There is NO DOUBT that the political ends of stopping Americans from voicing their discontent by legal action against one Brandon Raub, making him an example, is NOT lost upon the American people nor the world. We see clearly that what happens to this young man could happen to many of us. It appears, whether true or not, this an instrument to silent dissent and we Americans do not approve nor accept this type of dirty-handed tactic. What tactic? Using violence or the fear of violence for political ends!! Free this man and accept Americans are upset about their government. Fix the problems in our country, don’t violate people’s inherit and unalienabale rights instead!!
Marine veteran Brandon Raub was arrested for Facebook posts criticizing the US government. He also posted John Cena’s WWE entrance theme song along with his diatribes. Some things are worth sacrificing for and it is during times of difficulty that we should remember this.
So here goes a post for freedom of speech and thought in America.
He INTENTIONALLY said things that he knew he would get picked up for. He faced the danger to be a modern day Paul Revere. God bless him!
